About Patricia

Patricia is a partner at Eoin C Daly Mallon Solicitors LLP and specialises in the area of Family Law. She has litigated cases in all courts from the High Court and Circuit Court to the District Court. Highly regarded, Patricia has vast experience of contentious and non-contentious issues affecting families with particular emphasis on complex and frequently but not exclusively high-net worth cases. She also works extensively as a Mediator and Collaborative Practitioner in the area of Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Having first attended mediation training as far back as 2003, when mediation was a very new concept in Ireland, Patricia is passionate about the role of mediation as a very suitable alternative for people to reach satisfactory outcomes in their dispute and acknowledges the importance of mediation as a model and a very viable alternative to adverse litigation. Patricia is also qualified and experienced collaborative practitioner and has been involved in this area since its inception in Ireland in 2006.

Patricia strives to preserve the personal dignity of her clients while at the same time vigorously pursuing the matters at issue in their case. She is solution focused and believes that the practice of Family Law as a litigation model would be greatly enhanced by a more respectful and issue-centred/child-centered approach.
